
Cardinals Move Up Four Spots in LSU Classic on Saturday

Baton Rouge, La. - Despite the inclement weather, the 17th ranked Louisville women's golf team moved up four spots and is currently in seventh place after two rounds in the LSU Golf Classic in Baton Rouge, La. The Cardinals shot a 294 in the second round for a score of 590. Virginia leads the field with a score of 572. Wake Forest is second with a score of 580 and Arkansas was third with a score of 582.
Senior Cindy LaCrosse shot a 72 in the second round and is currently in ninth place with a score of 143. Virginia's Calle Nielson leads the field with a score of 138. Sophomore Sara-Maude Juneau shot a 74 in the second round and is currently tied at 23rd with a score of 147.
Sophomore Laura Anderson shot a 75 in the second round and is currently tied at 52nd with a score of 151. Junior Daphne Parker shot a 73 in the second round and is currently tied a 60th with a score of 152. Freshman Maria Castellanos shot an 82 in the second round and is currently tied at 85th with a score of 158.
The Cardinals will play a third and final round Sunday with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
