
Lecia Brown is Nation's Leading Blocker

Sophomore middle blocker Lecia Brown is ranked No. 1 in the nation in blocking with a 2.03 per game average to lead all Division I blockers.
Highlights this year include when she tied a school record with 12 block assists in the upset against #11 Duke. Last weekend, she helped U of L to sweeps of USF and Georgetown in the BIG EAST opener. She had two solo block and 10 assists against South Florida and one solo and nine assists against Georgetown.
She also had a total of 19 kills and only plays front row. She hit a blistering .571 against Georgetown and .304 against USF.
