Sivertsen Wins Singles Flight at Middle Tennessee Invitational

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - - Sophomore Morten Sivertsen defeated Middle Tennessee's Marc Boiron 6-2, 6-3 in the finals of the Middle Tennessee Fall Invitational Flight A3 Singles Sunday at the Buck Bouldin Tennis Center.
Sivertsen, a sophomore from Oslo, Norway opened the 2007-08 fall season with a 3-0 run at the tournament to claim the title.
Freshman Viktor Maksimcuk (Subotica, Serbia) fell 6-3, 6-1 to Middle Tennessee's Morgan Richard in the Championship consolation finals.
The Cardinals are back in action next weekend at the Baylor Invitational and the Southern Intercollegiates.
