
Men's Tennis Set to Host No. 6 Notre Dame

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - - The University of Louisville men's tennis team will close the 2007 regular season when it plays host to sixth-ranked Notre Dame Saturday at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center at 3:30 p.m.
The Cardinals (8-13) No. 58 in the ITA team rankings, are led in singles by senior Slavko Radman who is ranked 60th with an 18-9 overall record and a mark 12-5 as the top seed.
Fellow senior Damar Johnson is 11-9 as the No. 2 seeded player.
The team of Radman and Johnson is currently ranked ninth in the nation with a 16-6 overall record and a 7-3 dual match record.
Notre Dame (20-3) is ranked sixth in the nation with three singles players appearing in the top 120. Stephen Bass is ninth with an 18-5 overall record (9-12 dual matches). Sheeva Parbhu is 51st with a 22-13 (8-12) overall tally ( and Brett Helgeson (21-10, 13-6) stands in at No. 114.
The tandem on Parbhu and Ryan Keckley is No 20 in ITA doubles rankings.
Following the match, the Cards will prepare for the BIG EAST Conference tournament April 19-21 in Tampa, Fla.
