
Women's Golf Leads Wildcat Fall Invitational After Two Rounds

Lexington, Ky. - The University of Louisville women's golf team currently stands in first place of the Wildcat Fall Invitational after two rounds Saturday afternoon. The Cardinals shot a 320 in the first round and a 310 in the second round for a score of 630. Weather conditions were miserable with rain and wind all day. North Carolina State and Memphis are just one stroke behind the Cardinals for second place with a score of 631.
Senior Adrienne White leads the Cardinals and is in second place after two rounds. White carded a 78 in the first round and then shot a 74 in the second round for a score of 152. Missouri State's Amanda Mathis leads the field with a score of 148.
Sophomore Cindy LaCrosse finished the day with a score of 159 and is tied for 20th. Sophomore Amanda Henry, a Kentucky native, is currently tied at 25th with a score of 162. Senior Cristina Gonzalez is tied for 34th with a score of 162. And rounding out the Cardinals is junior Jenny Calkins with a score of 167. Calkins is currently tied at 53rd.
Freshmen Camille Williams and Chrissy Pachuta competed as individuals this tournament. Williams finished the day with a score of 171 and is tied at 68th while Pachuta carded a 181 and is tied at 78th.
The Cardinals will wrap up play at the Wildcat Fall Invitational with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start on Sunday.
