No. 11 ranked Volleyball to Hold Public Scrimmage

The Cardinals will scrimnage Aug. 17 at 6 p.m.

The University of Louisville volleyball team will host an open public scrimmage at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 17 in Cardinal Arena. The No. 11 ranked Cardinals return six letterwinners from the 31-3 squad that advanced to the 2005 NCAA Sweet Sixteen.

The Cardinals will also showcase the recruiting class that was ranked No. 15 in the nation by prepvolleyball.com.

"With so many newcomers, any chance we get to scrimmage and simulate a home match-situation for them will help us before we face a very challenging schedule this year," said Leonid Yelin, U of L coach.
