Louisville, Ky. - The University of Louisville's Slavko Radman jumped 18 spots to No. 53 in the Fila Collegiate Tennis Rankings administered by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
"Slavko has worked extremely hard to make his game more complete, so it's good to see that all of his efforts are starting to pay off in national rankings," said U of L head coach Rex Ecarma. "He is an extremely competitive person and playing ranked players really fires him up."
The junior from Split, Croatia is currently 15-11 overall and 11-8 in dual matches, playing mostly at the top seed for the Cardinals.
The No. 31 ranked U of L men's tennis team (15-7) will travel to Tampa for the 2006 BIG EAST Men's Tennis Championship. The Cards will face DePaul Friday at noon in the opening round of play.
