
No. 18 Men's Tennis Travels to Middle Tennessee

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - - The No. 18-ranked University of Louisville men's tennis team will travel to Murfreesboro, Tenn., to face No. 38 Middle Tennessee Saturday, March 25 at 2 p.m.
"Middle Tennessee is almost a mirror image of our team," said U of L head coach Rex Ecarma. " They are hungry, very good in doubles, have a lot of seniors and upperclassmen and were an NCAA team last season. A win in Murfreesboro is going to take great effort and can help us finish strong."
U of L (13-3) has captured the doubles point in 13 out of 15 of their matches this year. Senior Jhonny Berrido and junior Damar Johnson have teamed for a 13-1 doubles record at the No. 2 spot and are currently ranked No. 63 in the nation. The senior duo of Jeremy Clark and Jakob Gustafsson is 9-3 in dual matches and 16-6 overall. Junior Slavko Radman is ranked No. 96 in the ITA singles rankings and is 12-8 overall and 8-5 in dual matches playing at No. 1 and No. 2. Berrido has a team-best singles 10-4 dual match record. Gustafsson is 9-4 in dual matches and Clark is 9-5.
Middle Tennessee (9-6) is led in doubles by the fifth-ranked team of Andreas Siljestrom and Marco Born's 11-3 overall record (8-3 in dual matches.. Siljestrom is ranked No. 55 in singles with a 14-13 overall record (5-6 dual matches).
