LOUISVILLE, Ky. - - The No. 32-ranked University of Louisville men's tennis team will play host to No. 60 Indiana (4-0) Friday, Feb. 10 at noon at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center and No. 44 Virginia Tech (7-0) Sunday at 10:30 a.m. The Cardinals (4-2) have won 43 consecutive regular season matches at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center, dating back to the 2002 season.
"These two matches are very important to us, both teams beat a very good U of L team last season," said U of L head coach Rex Ecarma. "I hope my players remember what they experienced last year and use it as motivation to get them fired up for a big challenge ahead."
Senior Jeremy Clark is 4-2 in dual matches for the Cardinals. Freshman Robert Rotaru leads the team with a 12-5 overall record. The doubles team of Clark and Jakob Gustafsson, ranked No. 47 in the ITA rankings, is 4-2 as the Cards' top seed.
