Men's Golf Ends Day Fifth at Club Glove Intercollegiate

Somis, Calif. - - Junior Derek Fathauer finished in a tie for fourth place and the University of Louisville men's golf team finished in fifth place at The Club Glove Intercollegiate Tournament that is hosted by Pepperdine at the Saticoy Country Club.
Fathauer, a 2005-06 All-BIG EAST first team performer, shot a 5-over par 73-73-75=221 to finish in a tie for fourth place.
Lamar won the two-day affair with 893, while New Mexico and Pepperdine tied for second. Houston was fourth, just five shots ahead of Louisville, who shot 289-307-315. Louisville was in first place after the first two rounds, but shot 315 in the final round.
Freshman Lewis Kirton (72-78-81) and sophomore Adam Hadwin (72-76-83) each tied for 22nd overall with 231.
Junior Andrew Freeman tied for 36th overall with 72-82-83=237 and junior Daryl Fathauer rounded out the top five for Louisville with a tie for 38th-place finish.
The Cardinals concluded their fall season.
