
Jennifer Hoffman Named BIG EAST Player of the Week

Senior middle blocker Jennifer Hoffman was named BIG EAST Volleyball Player of the Week. It is the second consecutive week that a Cardinal has earned this honor.
The senior from Chicago's Seton Academy had match-high, career-high 16 kills against UConn in the BIG EAST opener. She hit a blistering .667 with five blocks to her credit as well. Against SJU, she had nine kills, hit .304 and had eight blocks for 13 points.
Hoffman's career hitting percentage of .397 ranks her second all-time (487-109-952). Teammate Ana Yartseva is the all time career hitting percentage leader at .436 (505-128-864). She was a consensus preseason All-BIG EAST selection.
U of L is 11-0 and 2-0 in the BIG EAST.
