
Women's Golf Moves Up Four Spots in Lady Paladin

Greeneville, S.C. - The Louisville women's golf team moved up four spots to finish tied for seventh after the second round of the Lady Paladin today in Greeneville, S.C. The Cardinals carded a 305 in the second round for a two round score of 612. The Cardinals are tied with Coastal Carolina for seventh place. Host Furman leads the field with a score of 590. Michigan State is second with a score of 600 and Mississippi State is third with a score of 603.
Freshman Cindy LaCrosse led the team again today, shooting a collegiate low of 73. LaCrosse is tied for fifth place with a score of 147. Michigan State's Sara Brown leads the field with a score of 142.
Cardinal sophomore Jenny Calkins moved up over 20 spots after carding a 74 in the second round, tying her for 23rd with a score of 155. Adrienne White, despite playing with an injured wrist, finished the day with a 79 and is currently tied for 39th with a score of 156.
Junior Cristina Gonzalez carded an 80 in the second round, tying her for 48th with a score of 157. Freshman Amanda Henry finished with a 79 in the second round, tying her for 60th with a score of 159.
The Cardinals will wrap up play tomorrow with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
