
Men's Tennis Set to Host Fall Invitational

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - - The University of Louisville men's tennis team is set to host the 8th annual Louisville Fall Invitational Tournament Oct. 14-16. All matches will be played indoors and outdoors at the Bass-Rudd Tennis center on the University's Belknap Campus.
This year's tournament will feature three divisions in both singles and doubles. The field includes 14 teams from around the region: Butler, Chicago State, Dayton, Eastern Kentucky, IUPUI, Kentucky, Louisville, Saint Louis, Southern Illinois, Tennessee-Martin, Tennessee Tech, Western Kentucky, Wright State, and Xavier.
"We are excited about hosting the eighth annual Louisville Invitational," said U of L head coach Rex Ecarma. "We will be seeing some exciting tennis from very good Midwest and South region teams. This has been a very important tournament for us in terms of our fall schedule and we've had a good showing the past few years. This year, the spotlight will be on Stefan Naughton, Pablo Camacho, Tony Teufel and Robert Rotaru."
First round doubles action will begin at 9:00 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14.
