The University of Louisville volleyball team has announced its schedule for 2004 with just one date remaining unset due to scheduling conflict. The Cardinals will play 12 matches at home during the regular season. U of L will host not only the Conference USA Championship in Cardinal Arena, but the NCAA Championship Regional as well.
The Cardinals' match with Memphis in Louisville has not been finalized due to a scheduling conflict.
"It is a well-paced, challenging schedule," said head coach Leonid Yelin. "We are very excited about hosting the Conference USA Tournament for the home court advantage and for our fans to see us in tournament mode. We are also very honored to be selected as a site for the NCAA Regional. I truly believe our fans' reputation and our staff's dedication to being a great volleyball venue helped make that happen."
