Conley Named C-USA Player of the Week

University of Louisville senior Cody Conley of Floyds Knobs, Ind., is the Conference USA Men's Tennis Player of the Week for the period ending Feb. 3.
Conley was 2-0 in both singles and doubles action last week to help the Cardinals improve to 5-0 on the season with doubleheader wins over Murray State and Southern Illinois. Playing the No. 2 singles spot, Conley opened the day with a 6-2, 7-5 victory over the Racers' Zakaria Bahn. He followed that with a 6-1, 7-6 win over the Salukis' Peter Bong. Conley and Octavian Nicodim, the 22nd-ranked double tandem by the ITA over the Murray State combo of Adam Maskill and Masimba Muskwe (8-4) and the Southern Illinois team of Alon Savidor and Julian Angel Botero (8-5) at No. 1 doubles.
