
Women's Golf Leads After Two Rounds

Simpsonville, Ky. - The University of Louisville women's golf team currently stands in first place with a score of 612 after two rounds in the Louisville Cardinal Cup on Monday. UNC-Greensboro is in second with a score of 618 and Memphis stands in third with a score of 619.
Jenny Gleason of UNC-Greensboro is currently in first place with a two round total score of 145. Marianne Ruud of Memphis is second with a score of 148 and Jennifer Jaszek of Memphis and Nicole Wagner of Georgia State are tied for third with a score of 150.
Louisville freshman Elly Leonard is tied for fifth place with UNC-Greensboro's Ashlee Dean with a score of 152. The Cardinals Morgan Hapney and Meghan Little are tied for seventh with a score of 153.
Senior Jessica Kell, competing as an individual, is tied for 14th with a score of 156. Cindy Pasechnik is tied at 18th with a score of 157.
Erin Bell, competing as an individual, is tied at 30th with a score of 161. Alison Wright shot a 163 for 36th place and Candace Pasechnik shot a 170 for 57th place.
Play will resume tomorrow morning at the Cardinal Club with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
