
Hurt Dismissed from U of L Men's Basketball Team

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville freshman guard Carlos Hurt has been dismissed from the Cardinals' basketball team, according to U of L Coach Rick Pitino.
"Carlos has been dismissed from our team for violating team rules," said Pitino. "We wish him well with his future endeavors."
Hurt averaged 8.1 points, 3.4 assists and 1.9 rebounds in 14 games for the Cardinals this season, scoring in double figures in eight games. He missed 17 games due to back surgery performed on Jan. 21, but returned to play in both of the Cards' National Invitation Tournament games.
