
Women's Golf Stands in Fifth After Two Rounds

Tampa, Fla. - The University of Louisville women's golf team currently stands in fifth place after two rounds in the Waterlefe Invitational on Monday. Michigan State leads the field with a score of 594. Central Florida is in second with a total of 614 while Tulane and South Florida are tied for third with a score of 619.
The Cardinals shot a 305 in the first round and shot a 315 in the second round for a score of 620. Junior Jessica Kell leads the Cards with shooting a 73 in the first round and a 75 in the second round. Kell currently stands in sixth place with a score of 148.
"I had a steady day and was very consistent," said Jessica Kell. "I hit more greens than usual and was able to execute. Tomorrow we just need to stay aggressive and hopefully come out on top."
Junior Cindy Pasechnik is tied for 12th place with a score of 152. Sophomore Morgan Hapney is tied for 41st with a score of 163 while freshman Meghan Little is tied at 43rd with a score of 163.
The Cardinals will close out competition with one round tomorrow.
