
Women's Golf Stands at 13th After Two Rounds

Greenville, S.C. - The University of Louisville women's golf team shot a 318 in the second round of play in the Lady Paladin Invitational. The Cardinals stand at 13th with a score of 621. Host Furman leads the field with a score of 588. South Carolina moved up to second with a total of 593 while North Carolina is third with a 595 total.
Furman's Leigh Turner shot a 68 in the second round to hold the lead with a score of 142. Louisville's Morgan Hapney shot the team's low round with a 77. Hapney is currently in 35th place with a score of 154. Junior Ali Wright is in 28th place after shooting an 81 today for a score of 153.
Seniors Cindy Pasechnik and Jessica Kell are tied for 51st place with a score of 157. Kell shot a 79 in the second round while Pasechnik shot an 81. Sophomore Meghan Little shot an 81 in the second round and is tied for 57th place with a score of 159.
Freshman Elly Leonard, competing as an individual, is tied at 68th place with a score of 162.
The Cardinals will finish out the tournament with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. on Sunday.
