
Bing Sun Named Conference USA Player of the Week

Sophomore, outside hitter BING SUN of Beijing, China (Huarion)was named Conference USA's Volleyball Player of the Week.
In three consecutive matches, Sun posted a .600 or higher hitting percentage to lead the Cardinals to a 3-0 record last week. In a 3-0 win over Kentucky, she notched 20 kills and only two errors for a .621 attack percentage. She followed with a 14-kill performance against Charlotte, while adding eight blocks and five digs. Sun concluded the weekend against East Carolina with 14 kills and only one attack error for a .600 hitting percentage. For the week, she also notched a total of 48 kills and only five errors for an outstanding .614 hitting percentage. She also averaged 5.33 kills and 2.33 digs per game. She has notched double-digit kill performances in 18 matches this year and has led the Cardinals in kills for 15 of 19 matches this season.
