Women's Golf Place Seventh After Two Rounds.

NEW ORLEANS, La. - The University of Louisville women's golf team is currently in 7th place in the Green Wave Women's Golf Classic with a score of 634 through two rounds in the 15 team field.

The University of Tennessee is the leader of the pack at the Lakewood CountryClub with a two-round total of 616. Vanderbilt follows with a team total of 624.

Tennessee's Erin Simmons (76-74=150) is the player to beat with afour-over-par performance on the day. Louisville is led by Alison Wright, who is currently in 7th place after shooting a 75, 77, 152 for plus six on the day. Cindy Pasechnik is the next Cardinal at No. 22 with a 78, 81, 159.

Tuesday, March 6 marks the final day of the Green Wave Women's Golf Classic. The shotgun start is at 8:00 a.m. and the teams will play 18 holes.
