Men's Tennis at No. 19 in Preseason Rankings

Bob Larson's College Tennis Daily placed the University of Louisville men's tennis team at No. 19 in its preseason rankings issued Sept. 26, 2001.
"I appreciate the respect shown to us by College Tennis Daily," said coach Rex Ecarma. "This team has potential and, if everything goes perfectly, could have a special season. With our fall tournament play, we are already starting to build for a strong spring season."
The Cardinals return seven players from the 2001 team, which finished 21-9 and fourth in Conference USA and have added four newcomers to the roster.
