Women's Golf in Sixth After First Round

MEMPHIS, TENN. - The UNC-Greensboro women's golf team fought through the cool temperatures, wind and rain and holds a slim lead over Arkansas-Little Rock, The University of Louisville is in sixth place with a 323 after one round.
The Cardinals are led by Cindy Pasechnik's 78.
Memphis and Campbell University are tied for third going into Tuesday's completion of the second round and playing of the final round of the Memphis Women'sIntercollegiate Golf Tournament being held at Memphis National Golf Club.
UNC-Greensboro turned in a first round score of 315 and leads Arkansas-Little Rock by five strokes. UALRhad a team score of 320, while Memphis, the host institution, is in third at 321 along with Campbell University. Jenny Gleason of UNC-Greensboro posted the round of the day and holds the individual lead after 18 holes. Gleason fired a one over par 73 and has a two shot lead over Maria Jose Hurtado of UALR and a three shot advantage over Jayme Langford of James Madison University. University of Memphis junior Sandra Hellsvik led the Lady Tigers in scoring with an opening round of 77. She is currently tied for fourth. U of M sophomore
