Kids Day at Louisville Men's Basketball
Louisville Men's Basketball is hosting Kids Day on Saturday, February 21 vs Georgia Tech. Submit an application for your kid(s) to be entered into a random selection for several unique game day activities! Please select the top three activities you would like to be considered for.
All submissions are due Monday, February 16 before 11:59 PM, and participants will be notified by Wednesday, February 18. Due to NCAA Compliance rules, all participants must be 12 years old or younger. Depending on response, not all submissions are guaranteed participation. Kids that are selected to participate will receive two complimentary tickets, as well as a link to purchase additional tickets at a discounted rate. Kids and families that are not selected to participate are still welcome to attend the game and will receive a link to discounted tickets.
Available Opportunities:
- Kids Media Day
- 15 Kids
- Prior to the game on February 21, join us for a media day where kids will draw pictures of the players, and participate in video stations to be featured on the video board during the game as well as on social media. Kids Media Day is planned for Tuesday, February 3 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Selections will be selected on Wednesday, January 28.
- Pregame Huddle:
- 5 Kids
- Join the huddle before tip-off as the starting lineups are introduced.
- Voice of the Cards:
- 1 Kid
- Join the voice of the Cards, Lance McGarvey, to help introduce the Cardinals starting lineup!
- Honorary Band Director:
- 2 Kids
- Join the Cardinal Pep Band and help lead the band in songs throughout one half of the game. Sit with the Pep Band and enjoy the action and the noise close to the court!
- Joker and the Thief Energy Squad:
- 5-10 Kids
- Join Louie and the Spirit Teams on the court during the Joker and the Thief light show.
- Honorary Ville'ns:
- 2 Kids
- Help lead the Ville'ns Student Section during one half of the game which includes sending up the Student Section Banner at halftime.
- Baby Race:
- 10 Babies
- Take the competition to the court! Babies (non-walkers) and parents are invited onto the court for a baby race.
- Cards Cheer:
- 10 Kids
- Join our beloved mascot, Louie, as he leads the crowd in the C-A-R-D-S cheer shortly before tip-off.
- Runout Tunnel:
- 20 Kids
- Cheer on the team as they run out for warm-ups 30 minutes prior to tip off!
- Mini Emcee:
- 4 Kids
- Help our in-arena hosts Allison Cook and Jim Hill with in-game promotions.
- Light Show Director:
- 1 Kid
- Help cue the fan-favorite arena lights show during the second half.
- Red Light Green Light:
- 20 Kids
- Join us on the court at halftime to play red light green light. The winner will receive a special prize!
