2024-25: At the ACC Championships, Paige was on the fifth place 800 Free Relay team, splitting 1:48.37. She finished 47th in the 100 backstroke with a time of 54.67. In the dual meet season, versus Tennessee, she won the 200 free (1:45.12) and was second in the 200 back ( 1:53.94). At the SMU Classic, she was second in the 200 free (1:46.01), the 200 back (1:54.94) and was on the winning 800 Free Relay team, splitting 1:48.28 as anchor. At Ohio State, she was fourth in the 200 back (1:53.40) and was on the third place 400 medley relay team with a leadoff leg of 25.39. Against Missouri, she won the 100 back (52.40) and the 200 back (1:53.22).
2023-24: Paige qualified for the NCAA Championships in Athens, Ga. where she earned four All-American Second Team honors. She was part of the 13th place 800 free relay (6:57.65), and was 14th in the 200 free (1:43.98). She helped the Cards to a ninth place finish in the 400 medley relay (3:29.11) and was 12th in the 200 back (1:52.10). At the ACC Championships, Paige won silver in the 200 free (1:44.02) and was part of the silver medal 800 free relay team (7:00.31). Paige helped the Cards to a bronze medal in the 400 medley relay that went 3:30.28. She touched fourth in the 200 back with a 1:52.33 and was third in the B-final of the 100 back (52.47) to finish 11th overall. During the dual meet season, she won the 100 back against Xavier (54.93). At the highly competitive SMU Classic, she won the 200 back and was second in four other events: the 200 free (1:45.41), the 100 back (53.30), the 800 free relay (7:0.47) and the 200 medley relay (1:37.29). At Tennessee swimming meters, she won the 100M butterfly (59.74) and helped the Cards win the 400M free relay (1:41.10). Against Notre Dame, she won the 200 backstroke (1:56.74) and was second in both the 200 free (1:49.45) and the 400 free relay (3:22.97). Against rival Kentucky, she won the 100 backstroke (52.63) and in the double dual meet with Indiana and Wisconsin she was second in the 200 back (1:54.06) and fourth in the 100 back (52.97). In the meet with Cincinnati, she won the 200 freestyle (1:45.31).
2022-23: Paige Hetrick had a breakout season as a sophomore for the Cardinals earning Honorable Mention All-American Honors. At NCAAs, she was part of the seventh place 800 free relay team, splitting 1:44.25 as the Cards posted a 6:57.24. She placed 18th in the 200 free (1:45.11) and 12th in the 200 back, posting a time of 1:52.32 in the finals. At the ACC Championships, she scored 66 points. She was a part of the 800 free relay team that won bronze with a split of 1:43.44. She was fifth in the finals of the 200 free with a time of 1:44.80. She placed 10th in the 100 back with a time of 52.22 and sixth in the finals of the 200 back with a time of 1:52.84. As a part of the fourth place 400 medley relay team, she split 47.98 as the anchor. An excellent student, Paige was named to the AD Honor Roll, as a Red & Black Scholar and as a Dean's Scholar.
2021-22: Hetrick had a breakout year in her debut season as a Cardinal. She qualified individually for the NCAA Championships, placing 21st in the 200 freestyle (1:46.00), 31st in the 200 backstroke (1:55.71), and 52nd in the 100 backstroke (53.94). She also anchored UofL’s 400 freestyle relay that finished 10th in 48.53. At the ACC Championships, she finished sixth in the 200 freestyle (1:46.87), 13th in the 200 backstroke (1:56.80), and 20th in the 100 backstroke (54.08). Hetrick also swam on the Cardinals’ fourth-place 800 freestyle relay, splitting 1:47.41. She posted four top-8 finishes throughout the dual meet season, highlighted by a runner-up showing in the 200 freestyle against Notre dame. Hetrick also placed third in the 100 backstroke against Cincinnati. For her efforts in the classroom, she was named to the ACC All-Academic Team.
