Nicole played an essential role in Louisville's strong backstroke contingent, going lifetime bests in both the 100- and 200-backstroke events and placing top-16 as a freshman at the 2007 BIG EAST Championships. She also set her best times in the 500-free at Cincinnati and the 50-back at Miami of Ohio. She joined the Cardinal roster from Centerton, Ark. where she was coached by Steve Duwel at Bentonville High School. Cindric won four straight Arkansas State High School titles in the 100-back and 200-Medley Relay. She is also a state record holder in the 100- back and 200-Medley Relay. She helped lead Bentonville to four consecutive state team titles. She was also coached by Duwel at Northwest Arkansas Aquatics where she was part of teams which won back to back Arkansas Swimming Inc. championships. At the 2006 state long course meet, Cindric won the 100- and 200- back. She was also recruited by Kansas and Arkansas. Personal: She is the daughter of Joseph and Lucy Cindric. She plans on majoring in education. She was born September 5, 1988.
