Bio
2024-25: During the dual season, he won the 1000 free against Xavier with a time of 9:36.9 and was third in the 1000 free against Tennessee with a 9:15.42. Against Purdue, he was fourth in the 200 free, going 1:37.11. At the Ohio State Invitational, his best finish was 10th in the 200 free (1:36.28). He took third in the 1000 at Missouri (9:22.78) and was sixth in the 1000 at Kentucky (9:18.31). In the Indiana Meet, he was 7th in the 500 free (4:28.41) and was third in the 1650 versus Cincinnati (15:27.60). He won both the 1650 and the 500 free at the Louisville First Chance Meet and was second in the 200 free (1:37.28) at the Last Chance Meet.
2023-24: During the dual meet season, Kayden was third in the 200 free (1:37.71) and fifth in the 500 free (4:26.58) and sixth in the 200 fly (1:52.73) against Auburn. At the Tennessee meet, he was fourth in the 200M free (1:53.23) and sixth in the 100M free (52.26). In the meet with Notre Dame, he was fifth in the 500 free (4:37.45) aand fourth in the 200 free (1:40.28). Versus Missouri, he was fifth in the 200 free (1:38.15) and on the third place 400 free relay. Against Kentucky, he was sixth was 500 free (4:27.85) and fifth in the 200 free (1:37.30). In the double dual meet with Wisconsin and Indiana, he was seventh in the 200 free (1:37.01). Against Cincinnati, he won the 1650 free (15:39.98) and was second in the 500 free (4:29.36). Kayden qualified for the Olympic Trials and placed 43rd in the 200M freestyle.
Prep: Kayden comes to the Ville from Carmel, Ind. but went to the Bolles School in Florida. He was the 2022 Florida 1A state champion in the 500 free (SCY) clocking a 4:25.74 and was the 2022 Florida state runner up in the 200 free (SCY) posting a time of 1:36.43. In 2021, he was the Florida state runner up in the 500 free (SCY) going 4:27.28.
Personal: He is the son of Shawnna and Mark Parmeter. His major is exercise science. Born Dec. 27, 2004.
