Freshman: Geovanni proved to have a strong rookie campaign with the Cardinals, finishing 17th on the 10-meter (232.70), 26th on the 3-meter (241.50), and 29th on the 1-meter (228.15) at the ACC Championships. At the NC State Wolfpack Invitational, he dove to seventh on the 1-meter (254.25), eighth on the 10-meter (265.70), and 11th on the 3-meter (308.05). Geovanni registered five top-5 finishes throughout dual meet competition, highlighted by a pair of runner-up finishes on the 1-meter (294.90) and 3-meter (306.90) against Notre Dame. He was also named to the CSCAA All-American team for the platform.
Prep: Hailing from Moultrie, Georgia, Geovanni comes to Louisville after diving for three years at Colquitt County High School. He finished in the top-5 at the Georgia 6A State Championships on the 1-meter springboard for four consecutive years. Under the coaching of John Fox, Geovanni dove year-round with Moss Farms Diving where he was the platform champion at the 2018 AAU RWB National Qualifier. He competed on three boards at the 2019 USA Diving Junior National Championships and won the 1m, 3m, and platform at the 2019 YMCA National meet. He holds best scores of 535.00 on the 1m, 521.70 on the 3m, and 482.10 on the 10m.
