Bio
2024-25: Madie Hall, a versatile swimmer for the University of Louisville, showcased her abilities throughout the 2024-2025 season. Her dual meet performances in 2024-2025 included several top-five finishes. Against Missouri, Hall placed third in the 200 breast with a time of 2:14.21 and second in the 200 fly, clocking in at 1:58.83. Hall also contributed to Louisville's victory in the 400 Free Relay against Xavier, with a time of 3:24.43. Against XU, she was second in the 200 breast with a 2:19.88 and second in the 200 fly with a 2:02.60. Versus rival Kentucky, Madie was fourth in the 200 fly (1:59.65).
2023-24: At the ACC Championships, she made the C-final in both the 200 IM (1:59.82) and the 200 butterfly (2:00.12). She was 28th in the 200 free (1:47.52). In the dual season, Madie was second in the 200 breast and helped the Cards win the 400 Free Relay (3:24.43) against Xavier. Her versatility was a factor in being chosen to swim in the SMU Classic where she was second in the 200 breast, and the 800 free relay and was 8th in the 200 fly (2:00.29). Against Tennessee, she was second in the 200M fly (2:17.31) and fourth in the 200M breaststroke (2:37.79). She swam the 200 fly against Notre Dame, finishing third against the Irish with a time of 2:03.33). Against Missouri, Madie was fourth I the 200 free (1:48.55), second in the 200 breast (2:14.09) and was on the third place 200 medley relay team (1:39.28). Against rival Kentucky, Madie was third in the 200 breast (2:12.67), fourth in both the 200 fly (2:00.24) and the 200 IM (2:01.01). In the double dual meet with Indiana and Wisconsin, she was ninth in the 200 fly (1:58.81) and fourth in the 200 breaststroke (2:13.20).
2022-23: Madie qualified for the ACC Championships in 2023. She swam in the C final of the 200 IM, turning in a time of 1:59.36. She was in the B-final of the 200 free with a 15th place finish in 1:46.72. A versatile swimmer, Madie was a natural to be selected to swim at the SMU Classic. Her best finish there was a fourth in the 200 IM. At the Purdue Invitational, she finalled in the 200 IM with a time of 2:03.20 and was 7th in the 200 freestyle. Against Xavier, she was on the B-relay that touched third in 1:43.37. Against Tennessee, she was on the second place 400 Free Relay as the anchor and went 50.96 as her split. At Notre Dame, she was third in the 200 breast and fifth in the 200 fly. At the Purdue Invitational, she touched second in the 200 butterfly with a 2:00.68 and fourth in the 200 breast with a time of 2:14.12 as well as being on the second place 400 Free Relay team (3:19.68) with her leadoff split clocking in at 50.08. At Kentucky, she was part of the second place 400 Free Relay team that went 3:19.33 with her anchor split of 49.29. Against the Hoosiers of Indiana, she touched third in the 200 fly, fourth in the 200 breast and was on the third place 200 Free Relay team that stopped the clock in 1:32.41.
2021-22: Madie Hall has established herself as a strong relay swimmer for the Cardinals, heading to NCAAs as a relay alternate. Against Xavier, she boarded a third-place finish in the 200 fly and was fourth in the 100 free. At Tennessee, she helped the Cards to a fourth place finish in the 400 free relay, splitting 51.64. At the Purdue, she placed seventh in the 200 free with a 1:49.24. She helped the 400 medley relay team to a fourth place with an anchor of 50.09 and the 200 free relay to a fourth place finish as the leadoff leg. She turned in the fastest split in the 400 free relay team at the Purdue Invitational with a 49.86. At Indiana, she helped the 400 free relay to a third place finish with a 49.29 split on the third leg. Against rival Kentucky, she helped the 400 free relay team touch second with a split of 49.86. She was fourth in the 50 free (23.11) and fifh in the 100 free (50.12) against the Cats. Versus Cincinnati, she was third in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:47.51. At the Louisville Invitational, she won the 100 free (49.58) and the 50 free (23.12). At Tennessee’s Last Chance, she placed second in the 100 free (49.43), and second in the 200 free (1:47.89). She swam the 200M IM at the Phillips 66 National Championships with a 2:21.05. A star pupil, she was named to the ACC Academic Honor and the University of Louisville AD Honor Roll.
Prep: Madie came to Louisville from Isanti, Minn., where she swam for Mike Parrato at Riptide. Hall swam at Olympic Trials in the 50m free She raced raced three events at the Toyota U.S. Open. She placed seventh in the 100m free, ninth in the 50m free, and 10th in the 200m free at NCSAs after earning bronze in the 400m free at Minnesota LCM Seniors. she had a pair of top-15 finishes at Juniors West and earned two best times at NCSAs. At the 2021 Minnesota LC Senior State Championship, she was a finalist, finishing second in the 200 Free. In 2019, she had top ten finishes at the NCSA Summer Championships, the Minnesota Senior LC Championships and the NCSA Spring Junior Championships.
