Adam Williams was named Associate Director of Equipment Operations in the summer of 2021 and will work primarily with the football program.
The Louisville native joined the UofL Athletics Department as a full-time staff member in 2019 when he was named assistant equipment manager with primary sport responsibilities for cross country, track and field, field hockey and softball. In that capacity, he maintained the equipment budgets and managed the Adidas and other apparel and equipment contracts for his specific sports.
Prior to becoming a full-time member of the staff, Williams spent six years working with the Cardinals’ football program while pursuing his undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Louisville.
Williams graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in sport administration and a minor in marketing in 2019. He went on to complete his master’s degree in sport administration in 2020.
He married the former Alecia Cushing in 2021.
