LOUISVILLE
- Led freshman Benadate Cheruiyot to a fifth-place showing in the 3,000m steeplechase at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships; she qualified for the NCAA Preliminary Rounds in the event
- Directed Holly Knight to earn first female distance All-America honor at Louisville in more than 15 years; Knight also earned academic All-America accolades
- Coached Knight to set school records in the 5,000m and 10,000m events that had been upheld since 1995; she shattered the 10,000m mark by nearly 35 seconds
- Overall, the distance group broke six school records
WESTERN MICHIGAN
- Guided her athletes to three league titles on the track, while setting three school records
- Had one athlete qualify for the NCAA East Preliminary Rounds in the 10,000m
- Her 2011 distance group accumulated the most points in school history at the league championships
- Directed the women's cross country team to its highest finish since 2006 at the MAC Cross Country Championships; the squad had its first all-conference honoree in Samantha Tomerlin in two years
- Coached the women's cross country team to its best finish at a regional in six years; Tomerlin had the best mark by a female runner in more than 10 years
