Bio
Junior: As a junior, Paige was able to help the Cardinals to a win over Xavier, finishing second in the 200 fly (2:13.44). She also recorded a top-16 finish in the 200 fly at the UofL Invitational, posting a time of 2:08.84 for 15th. At the Ohio State Winter Invite, she registered an impressive fourth place finish in the 200 fly in a season-best 2:08.16, while also placing 11th in the 100 fly with a time of 59.02. Paige is also a member of the SAAC.
Sophomore: Paige Ezell is a part of the butterfly corps for the Cardinals, using her versatility to also compete in the individual medley. In the 100-fly, season highlights included a 1:00.39 at the UofL Invitational and a 1:01.54 versus regional power Indiana. In the 200-fly, she put up a 2:10.19 with a 1:59.00 at the UofL Invitational. Paige's leadership was recognized when she was named to the Student Athlete Advisory Committee.
Freshman: Paige provided depth in many different events including relay events. Ezell posted her season best with a second place finish in the 100 fly with a time of 58.75 at the Louisville Invitational. Ezell also posted her season best in the 200 fly with a time of 2:08.34 and a fourth place finish at the Louisville Invitational. Paige had season best time of 2:32.20 in the 200 breast against UNC and 2:19.34 in the 200 IM against Xavier. Other dual season highlights include a sixth in both the 200-fly and 200-breast versus Cincinnati.
Prep: Paige came to the Cardinals from Lexington where she swam for Coach Barbie Viney at Lexington Catholic High School. She also swam for Wildcat Aquatics Club under Coach Den Davis. She was a four-time Kentucky High School State finalist as well as team captain and MVP of her team.
Personal: Daughter of Eric and Jean Ezell. Born on June 15, 1996. Major is marketing.
