Senior: Visscher continued to put up impressive performances as a key player for the Cardinals during her final season, qualifying for the NCAA Championships in the 50 freestyle before the meet was cancelled. At the ACC Championships, she placed 10th in the 100 freestyle (48.52), 11th in the 50 freestyle (22.39), and 20th in the 100 backstroke (53.81). Visscher also led off the silver-medal-winning 200 freestyle relay in 22.44 and anchored the 400 freestyle relay in 47.74 that finished second. She won the 50 freestyle (22.28) and 100 freestyle (49.08) at the Tennessee Last Chance Invitational and registered three top-eight finishes at the SMU Classic. At the Purdue Invitational, she was the runner-up in both the 50 free (22.26) and 100 backstroke (53.64) before going on to compete in three events at the Toyota U.S. Open. Visscher was also a major point scorer throughout dual meet competition, recording 11 top-four finishes and picked up individual wins against Xavier, Notre Dame, Indiana, Texas, and Kentucky. For her performances in both the pool and in the classroom, Visscher was named to the All-ACC Academic Team and awarded ACC Honor Roll and CSCAA Scholar All-America honors. She was also named to the CSCAA All-American team in the 50 freestyle, 200 freestyle relay, and 400 freestyle relay.
Junior: As a junior, Visscher continued to play a vital role for the Cardinals in the sprint free events and relays. She qualified for her second consecutive NCAA Championships, competing individually in the 50 free (22.22) and earning All-American honors as a member of the Cards’ fourth place and school record breaking 200 free relay, fifth place 200 medley relay and fifth place 400 medley relay. At the ACC Championships, Visscher qualified for the A final in both sprint free events, finishing fifth in the 100 free (48.54) and sixth in the 50 free (22.23) to score 49 individual points for the Cards. She also earned a gold medal as a member of the Cards’ 400 free relay team and silver for the 200 free relay. Visscher posted strong performances at the IU Invitational, finishing fifth in the 100 free, sixth in the 50 free and 16th in the 100 back. Throughout the dual meet season, Visscher scored in six of the Cards’ meets. For her efforts in the classroom, Visscher was named to the All-ACC Academic Team. Visscher raced the 50m free (25.89) and 100m free (57.00) at Phillips 66 Nationals where she was also part of the Cards’ fifth-place 4x100m free relay.Sophomore: Visscher followed up her standout debut season as a Cardinal with an even more impressive showing in her sophomore year. At the NCAA Championships, she finished 11th in the 50 free (22.14), while also competing in the 100 free (48.49) and 100 back (53.57). Additionally, Visscher was a member of the fourth place and school record breaking 400 free relay, as well as the fifth place 200 free and 200 medley relays. At the ACC Championships, she scored 61 points for the Cards with a fifth place in the 50 free (22.20) and 100 free (48.22) and a 16th place in the 100 back (53.32). At the Winter National Championships, she recorded a sixth place finish in the 50 free with a time of 22.22. She also competed at the Phillips 66 National Championships, swimming the 50-meter free (25.90) and 100-meter free (56.49). Visscher posted strong dual meet performances against both Notre Dame and Indiana. Against Notre Dame, she finished second in the 50 free and third in the 100 free. In the meet against Indiana, she registered second place finishes in both the 50 and 100 free. For her performances both in the pool and in the classroom, Visscher was named to the All-ACC Academic Team and was awarded CSCAA Scholar All-America honors.
Freshman: In her freshman season, Visscher contributed to multiple top-three relay finishes throughout the Cardinals’ dual meet season, as well as tallying key points in the sprint freestyle events. Visscher also qualified for the World Championship Trials, swimming the 50-meter fly (27.90), 50-meter back (30.36), 50-meter free (25.45), and 100-meter free (56.30). In the 50-meter free, she qualified for finals, placing 19th overall. She competed in both the Mesa and Atlanta Arena Pro Swim Series, highlighted by a 12th place finish in the 50-meter free (25.72) and 19th place finish in the 100-meter back (1:04.41) at Mesa and a 12th place finish in the 50-meter free (25.96) in Atlanta. During the dual season, Visscher scored an impressive 107 points at the UofL Invitational. She took second in the 100 free (49.44) and 100 fly (54.04), while taking fourth in the 100 back (54.53) and fifth in the 50 free (22.94). She took second in the 50 free four times throughout the season, most notably against Kentucky in a time of 23.02. She also contributed a second place finish in the 100 free against Xavier.
Prep: Visscher joins the Cardinals from the west coast as she lives in Damascus, Ore. and is home schooled and competes for Oregon City Swim Team. She is an Olympic Trials qualifier in the 100 back and a four-time high school All-American. Visscher owns two Oregon state records, is a 2015 Oregon State Champion in the 100 back and won the 2015 Women's High Point at Senior Sectionals in Federal Way, Wash. Her best times are 49.29 in the 100 free, 54.10 in the 100 back and 1:57.79 in the 200 back.
