TAMPA, Fla. – The University of Louisville track & field teams concluded the second and final day of the USF Alumni Invitational in Tampa on Saturday afternoon.

After winning the women's shot put on Friday with a personal-best mark of 17.50m (57-5), Kaia Tupu-South doubled back with a fifth-place showing in the women's discus throw, finishing second among collegiate athletes with a final mark of 52.92m (173-7).

Johnny Sabinski also pulled double duty in the men's shot put and discus throw, earning his second fifth-place finish of the weekend in the discus with a new personal best toss of 48.44m (158-11).

The Cardinals will return to action next weekend when they split between three meets: the Raleigh Relays in Raleigh, N.C., the UCF Knights Invite in Orlando, Fla., and Bellarmine's Jim Vargo Invitational in Louisville, Ky.
