Cardinals Earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Recognition for Ninth Consecutive Season

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The University of Louisville men's and women's track & field teams both earned All-Academic Team distinction from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), as announced by the organization on Monday.
The Louisville men and women have now both been recognized by the USTFCCCA as an All-Academic Team for nine consecutive seasons by earning a cumulative team GPA of over 3.0 for the entire academic year. Over the course of the 2025-26 academic year, the Louisville women recorded a team GPA of 3.66, while the men's team finished the year with a 3.15 GPA.
Along with the team accolades, 25 individual student-athletes were named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team for their efforts in the classroom, with 16 women and nine men earning the honor.
Individual selections to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher and must also meet athletic criteria from both the indoor and outdoor season. For the indoor season, athletes must have finished the season ranked in the top 96 in any championship individual event or in the top 48 in any championship relay event. For the outdoor season, athletes must have participated in either the NCAA First Round competition and/or the NCAA Championship competition or must have finished the season ranked in the top 48 in the East or West regions.
