Cards Set to Host PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational
January 29, 2026 | Track & Field
The two-day event will take place at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center in Louisville on Jan. 30-31.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville track & field teams are ready to play host to the sixth annual PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational, which will be contested over two days at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center in Louisville on Jan. 30-31
Since its inception during the 2020-21 indoor season, the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational has rapidly grown, attracting some of the top talents across the nation and progressing into one of the premier indoor meets at the collegiate level.
As part of a continued effort to make the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational one of the top indoor events in the nation, this year's meet will be headlined by the use of Wavelight Technologies' pacing lights. These LED lights are placed along the inside of the track and move at a set speed, allowing athletes to see exactly what pace they need to maintain to achieve a target time.
Friday's field events will begin at 9:45 a.m. ET to kick off the weekend's competition, while track events will begin at 10:00 a.m. ET. The full schedule of events for both days of competition can be found here.
The Cardinals will be represented by a contingent of over 50 student-athletes for their lone true home meet of the 2025-26 indoor season, marking the largest group of athletes that have competed for Louisville at a single meet thus far this year.
In the first installment of the USTFCCCA National TFRI rankings on Jan. 27, the Louisville women checked in at No. 14 nationally, while the Cardinals also accounted for a total of four event squads (women's long jump, women's triple jump, men's pole vault, and men's 5000m) that currently rank among the top 10 nationally.
Individually, the Cardinals also have four student-athletes that boast marks that rank among the top 10 nationally in their respective events. Ashley Callahan and Iliana Trianatafyllou both hold top-five clearances in the women's pole vault, while Alba Cuns Iglesias (women's triple jump) and Synclair Savage (women's long jump) also rank in the top 10 with their season-best marks.
