Cardinals Set for Bellarmine Open

The meet will take place at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center on Friday, Jan. 16.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville track & field teams will return to the track this weekend for the Bellarmine Open on Friday, Jan. 16 at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center.
The start of the field events will get competition underway at 10:00 a.m. ET, while the day's track events will kick off at 12:15 p.m. ET. The full schedule of events for Friday can be found here.
Admission to the meet will cost $10 for adults and $7 for children between ages 4 and 17, while kids ages 3 and under are free. Parking at the facility will also be available for a $5 charge.
The Cardinals will be represented at the meet by a small group of student-athletes, primarily consisting of pole vaulters and throwers.
Last time out at the Rod McCravy Memorial on Jan. 9-10, Breanna Braham (women's 300m) and Ty McPhail (men's pole vault) both broke program records, while Miller Jones was named ACC Men's Field Athlete of the Week for the first time in his career after posting ACC-leading marks in both the men's long jump and men's triple jump.
