Louisville Heads to No. 16 Duke for Friday Night Match

The Cards are coming off a 2-2 draw to No. 18 Kentucky on Tuesday.
DURHAM, N.C. – The University of Louisville men's soccer team continues conference play as they travel to No. 16 Duke for a Friday night match at Koskinen Stadium. The game will kick off at 7 p.m. ET on ACCNX.
The Cardinals (5-2-1, 1-2 ACC) enter the contest following a 2-2 draw against No. 18 Kentucky on Tuesday. Freshman defender Nicholas Parham and junior Ryan Quintos each netted goals, with Quintos delivering the late equalizer in the 89th minute to extend Louisville's unbeaten streak against non-conference opponents.
Louisville opened the 2025 season with a historic defensive run, posting five straight shutouts for the first time in program history, highlighted by a 1-0 victory over top-ranked Stanford. Redshirt junior goalkeeper Alex Svetanoff has anchored the back line with five shutouts and 17 saves this fall, while Chase Vazquez leads the attack with three goals and two assists. Freshmen Parham and Quinton Wilson, along with sophomores Michael Lee and Noah De Blasis, have also provided early scoring depth.
Duke (4-0-3, 1-0-1 ACC) remains unbeaten through seven matches, including a 2-0 conference victory over Syracuse. The Blue Devils are led by Kenan Hot (four goals, two assists) and Alessandro Arlotti (three goals, four assists), who pace a balanced attack averaging 2.43 goals per game.
Louisville leads the all-time series 5-3-1, but has suffered two losses in the last two matches between the teams. The Cardinals are 2-1-1 in matches played in Durham.
