2022-23: On Saturday morning at ORCI, she rowed in the 3V8 boat that finished third with a 7:08.263. In the afternoon session at the ORCI, she rowed in the 3V8 boat that finished third with a time of 7:04.226. Against Michigan, she was aboard the 2V4 boat that turned in the third-place time of 8:13.41. In the prelims of the ACC Championship in Raleigh, she rowed the 3V8 boat to a third-place finish in 7:11.992 to advance to the grand final. In the grand final of the ACC Championships, she rowed the 3V8 boat to a sixth-place finish with a time of 7:25.658.
2021-22: Madison was in the 2V8 boat that crossed the finish with a time of 14:45.5 and was also in the 4V4 that posted a time of 16:15.1at the Rivanna Romp. She rowed in the V4 boat that boarded a time of 7:16.853 on Day 1 of the ORCI. On Day 2 of the ORCI, she rowed in the V4 boat to a second-place finish with a time of 7:23.195. At the Sunshine State Invitational, she rowed on the V4 boat that won the petite final with a time of 7:29.65. At the Lake Wheeler Invitational, she helped the Cards’ V4 boat to a third-place finish with a time of 7:47.154. In the head-to-head competition with Michigan, she was on the V4 boat that posted a time of 7:47.45. At the ACC Championships held at Clemson in 2022, she was on the V4 boat that finished fifth in the grand final with a time of 7:25.809. An outstanding student, she was named as scholar athletes for the 2022 season by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) and was named to the ACC All-Academic team. She is a member of the AD Honor Roll and the ACC Academic Honor Roll.
2020-21: Just a sophomore, Cicha showed her versatility for the Cardinals, rowing in the 2V8 boat at Oak Ridge, and then the 2V8 boat versus Notre Dame. She switched to the V4 at Mich/Iowa before moving back into the 2V8 boat at ACCs, where she helped the Cards take second in the petite final. An outstanding student, she was a member of the Athletic Director's Honor Roll, a Red & Black Scholar, and made the Fall 2020 Dean's List. She is also a CRCA Scholar Athlete and was named to the ACC Honor Roll.
Prior to UofL: Madison rowed for South Jersey Rowing Club. She raced the double and quad at Youth Nationals in 2019.
Personal: Daughter of Rich and Jana Cicha. Born on December 19, 2000. Has two sisters, Sydney and Elly.
