
Swimming and Diving Release 2025-26 Schedule

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville swimming and diving team revealed the 2025-26 schedule that includes seven home meets as the Cardinals aim to compete towards another successful season.

The season will open at the Ralph Wright Natatorium with a dual meet against Xavier on Oct. 3. UofL has started its season against the Musketeers the last six seasons, and Xavier has never beat the Cardinals in the previous 16 matchups.

Once again, UofL will head to Dallas, TX to compete in the SMU Classic on Oct. 10-11. The event features the nation's top talent and includes eight swimmers and one diver from each competing program. Each swimmer may compete in three events per day with one required to be a relay, and events are contested in two heats, with one swimmer from each institution in each heat. Divers will compete on 1- and 3-meter springboard.

The Cardinals will trek down to Knoxville, TN to compete in a triangular against Tennessee and Auburn on Oct. 30. In 2024, the then- 11/7 ranked Cards upset the 8/5 University of Tennessee with both teams winning by less than 60 points in the down-to-the-wire matchup. The No. 11 Louisville men upset No. 8 Tennessee 178.5-121.5, while the No. 7 Louisville women upset the No. 5 Lady Vols 157-143.

UofL will return home to the Ralph Wright Natatorium to host the University of Kentucky on Nov. 6, and then the University of Notre Dame on Nov. 7.

The Cardinals will make their way to Columbus, OH where the Ohio State University is hosting a four-day invitational on Nov. 18-21 with a prelims and finals format, giving athletes a look at postseason competition.

UofL will compete in Austin, TX at the Toyota U.S Open on Dec. 3-6, followed by the USA Diving Winter Nationals on Dec. 7-18 at a location that is to be determined.

The Cardinals will return home to the Ralph Wright Natatorium to host the University of Missouri on Jan. 9, then head back to Austin, TX to partake in the two-day Texas Showdown on Jan. 23-24.

UofL will travel up to Bloomington, IN to compete against Indiana University on Jan. 30. Last season, the No. 10 ranked Cardinal women upset the No. 6 ranked Hoosiers 170-130, while the No. 11 UofL men fell to the No. 2 ranked Indiana team 189.50-110.50.

The Cardinals will return home to the Ralph Wright Natatorium for the final dual meet of the season against the University of Cincinnati on Jan. 31, then will stay home for the Louisville Invitational on Feb. 5-6.

The ACC Championships will be at the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, GA from Feb. 15-21 where both the men and the women will compete.

UofL will host a Championship Qualifying Meet on Feb. 27-28 at the Ralph Wright Natatorium.

The NCAA Diving Zones will be held March 7-11 at a location that is to be determined.

Both the women's (March 18-21) and the men's (March 25-28) NCAA Championships will be held at the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, GA for the final competition of the season.
