Cards Represented at USA Field Hockey Senior Nexus Championship

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Nine student-athletes on the University of Louisville's 2025 field hockey roster have been selected to compete in the upcoming 2025 Senior Nexus Championship (NXC), presented by Osaka Hockey.

The event will take place July 19-20 at the Virginia Beach Regional Training Center in Virginia Beach, Va.

The Louisville contingent includes returners: Izzy Bianco, Emily Eaton, Lauren Masters, Sophia Parker and Rylie Wollerton along with redshirt freshmen Alessia Cicuto and Mary Wordelmann, incoming freshman Jaelen Perez and transfer Addy Jay.

The Senior NXC features elite collegiate and post-collegiate athletes who during the spring and early summer trialed and trained at one of the seven Senior Nexus Training Sites. A step along the Olympic Development Pathway program, the Senior NXC serves as a selection opportunity for the 2025-26 U.S. U-21 Women's National Team Selection Camps, Junior USWNT Selection Camps, U.S. Women's National Development Squad and U.S. Women's National Team.
