Overall Record: 14-6
NCAA Finish: National Semifinals The University of Louisville field hockey team finished with a 14-6 overall record playing a split season across the fall and spring semesters. The Cardinals were 5-1 in ACC play during the fall, capturing a share of the ACC fall regular season title. Playing the NCAA championship in the spring, Louisville defeated UConn in the quarterfinal round to secure the Cardinals first-ever appearance in the national semifinals. The Cards battled Michigan to a 1-1 stalemate through regulation and overtime in the semifinals before ultimately losing in the sudden victory portion of the shootout. |
