Masters Named to USWNT U21 Team for Junior Pan American Cup

SANTIAGO, Chile - The University of Louisville field hockey team's Lauren Masters has been named to the United States U-21 Women's National Team that will compete at the women's 2026 Junior Pan American Cup.

The 2026 Junior Pan American Cup will take place in Santiago, Chile from April 6 to April 18 at the National Stadium Sports Park. This event is a qualifier for the 2027 FIH Hockey Junior World Cup where the top four teams will clinch a berth.

This is the third time Masters has been selected to participate on the Junior USWNT team with appearances in 2024 and 2025. The rising junior took home her first National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-West Region team nod after tallying three goals and four assists for 10 points in the Cards' 2025 campaign.

The junior is one of nine athletes who were renamed to the squad after representing USA in 2025's FIH Hockey Women's Junior World Cup. At the event, USA placed sixth which marks the team's highest ever finish in the competition.
