
Cardinals Set to Compete at Lexington Regional

The three-day tournament begins on Monday morning at Keene Trace Golf Club
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Louisville women's golf team is set to begin postseason play on Monday as they head down I-64 for the Lexington Regional. The Cardinals are one of 12 teams competing in the regional that will be held at Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville. This is the first time since the 2021-22 season that the Cardinals advanced to an NCAA Regional as a team.
Competing for the Cardinals this week will be Carmen Griffiths, Thienna Huynh, Veronika Exposito, Bailey Burkett and Beatriz Barrios. This will be the first NCAA appearance with the Cardinals for Huynh, Exposito, Burkett and Barrios.
Griffiths has been in an NCAA Regional in each of her three seasons with the Cardinals. She was part of the 2022 team that qualified for the Albuquerque Regional and then was selected as an individual in 2023 and 2024. Her best finish came in 2022 when she finished tied for 37th overall.
The first round will begin on Monday as the Cards will play the first 18 holes of the Regional. The first tee time for the Cardinals will be at 8:55 a.m. ET from hole No. 1 and the Cards final tee time will be at 9:39 a.m. Fans can follow along with the live stats here or by following our social media channels.
