Moss, Johnson and Claycomb Named to PING All-Region Team

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Three University of Louisville men's golfers were named to the PING Midwest Division I All-Region team, the GCAA announced on Saturday morning,
Sebastian Moss, Easton Johnson  and Cooper Claycomb all earned honors after leading their team to NCAA Regional action. The Cardinals finished in seventh place in the NCAA Tallahassee Regional.
One of the top players in the nation, Moss posted three victories in his final season with the Cardinals and five overall during his career. This season, Moss led the Cardinals to the NCAA Regional after securing individual wins at the Bearcat Invitational, the Fighting Irish Classic and the Calusa Cup. Moss closed the year with a 70.03 stroke average, which led the team. He posted top-20 finishes in nine of the team's 10 events.
Johnson had his best season with the Cards, finishing second on the squad with a 72.42 stroke average in 11 team events. The rising senior finished second at the Calusa Cup by shooting 7-under-par and tied for sixth at the Bearcat Invitational and seventh at Notre Dame.
Claycomb earned honors for the second-straight season. The sophomore was third on the team with a 72.51 stroke average and posted a third-pace finish at the Calusa Cup.Â
Both Johnson and Claycomb will return for the 2025-26 season next year.
