
Louisville Looks to Finish the Regular Season Strong with a Pair of Home Matches

No. 62 Cardinals will face Syracuse Friday, Boston College Sunday
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville women's tennis team will wrap-up the regular season at home, hosting Syracuse and Boston College at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.
UofL will face the Orange on Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. and then will conclude the weekend against the Eagles on Sunday at 12 p.m.
Before Sunday's match, the Cardinals will celebrate Senior Day by honoring Allie Gretkowski as she has spent the last two seasons with the Cards after transferring in from South Carolina. Doors will open an hour before the match.
Louisville (11-8, 3-7 ACC) split a pair of matches the previous weekend, falling to No. 28 Georgia Tech 4-3 in a tightly contested match. On Sunday the Cards picked up a huge 4-3 win against No. 37 Clemson as Alice Otis clinched the match for the Cardinals on Court 1 in a three-set thriller.
UofL is well represented in the recent ITA rankings, moving up to No. 62 as a team while Otis reentered the singles rankings coming in at No. 122. The duo of Berta Miret and Lika Peresypkina were placed at No. 89 in the doubles poll after defeating two ranked doubles pairings last weekend.

Series Record: Louisville is 7-8 all-time against the Orange.

Scouting the Orange: Syracuse is coming off a pair of losses last weekend, falling to No. 60 Virginia Tech 4-3 and No. 5 Virginia 4-1. The Orange are led in singles by No. 101 Serafima Shastova and No. 108 Miyuka Kimoto who are a combined 17-9 on the season.
Cards vs. Boston College (5-15, 1-9 ACC)
