
Cross Country Places 14 on All-ACC Academic Team

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The University of Louisville men's and women's cross country teams placed 14 student athletes on the 2024 All-ACC Cross Country Academic Teams, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.
Nine women were honored by the conference including Brooke Lahee, Haley Meade, Lexie Paszkiewicz, Rylee Penn, Lexi Raquet, Layla Roebke, Lucinda Rourke, Julia Schmitt, and Maddie Seaby.
On the men's side, Gustav Bendsen, Josiah Hortin, Ethan Meyer, Innocent Ntwali, and Jack Stansell earned All-ACC Academic distinction.
Meyer and Paszkiewicz were named to the All-ACC Academic team for the third time in their careers while Ntwali, Penn, Roebke, and Seaby were honored for the second time. The other eight honorees were all recognized by the conference for the first time in their collegiate careers.
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a grade point average of at least 3.0 for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative GPA during one's academic career. In addition, student-athletes must have competed in either the ACC Championships or the NCAA Championships in the sport of cross country during the 2024 fall season.
