Blackshear, Cabello and Sherman Win Weekly ACC Awards

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- University of Louisville's Hannah Sherman was named the Atlanta Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Week. Louisville's Nayelis Cabello garnered ACC Setter of the Week honors, while Cardinals' teammate Kalyssa Blackshear was named ACC Freshman of the Week for matches played October 20-26.

ACC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Hannah Sherman, Middle Blocker, Louisville (Silver Spring, Maryland)

Totaled 17 total blocks, an average of 2.43 blocks per set, in wins over Duke and No. 21 North Carolina.
