No. 19 Louisville Set to Host Boston College on Saturday Night

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The No. 19-ranked University of Louisville football team returns home to face Atlantic Coast Conference opponent Boston College on Saturday night at L&N Stadium.

Series History
Louisville and Boston College will meet for the 18th time in history on Saturday. The Cards lead the all-time series 10-7 and hold a four-game win streak over the Eagles.Â
Last time the opponents met, UofL completed a 20-yard comeback to defeat Boston College, 31-27 in Chestnut Hill, Mass. Louisville quarterback Tyler Shough completed 28 of 38 passes for 332 yards and two touchdowns. Tight end Nate Kurisky pulled down two touchdowns, scoring the go-ahead touchdown to help clinch the win for the Cards.Â
Notes on Louisville
Louisville (5-1, 2-1 ACC) entered the polls for the first time in the 2025 season after its upset over No. 2 Miami Friday night at Hard Rock Stadium. Louisville got on the board first and never gave up their lead, closing the game with a 24-21 victory over the Hurricanes.Â
Quarterback Miller Moss tallied three touchdowns on the day, one of which was on the ground. He completed 23 of 37 passes for a total of 248 yards.Â
Both of Moss' passing touchdowns were caught by wide receiver Chris Bell. On top of two touchdowns, Bell caught nine passes for 136 yards to notch his third straight 100-yard game
The defense continued to power the Cards, holding Miami to just 334 yards of offense on Friday. They also pulled down four interceptions off Miami quarterback Carson Beck to bring their season total to 10 which ranks sixth in the country.Â
Notes on Boston College
Boston College (1-6, 0-4 ACC) is coming off a 38-23 loss to Connecticut. The Eagles scored first, but the Huskies defense held them to just three points in the second half.
BC quarterback Grayson Hames completed 16 of 28 passes for 204 yards and two touchdowns. The Eagles offense ranks top-30 in the nation in passing yards per game with 272.4.
Wide receiver Lewis Bond ranks first in the ACC and sixth in the country in receptions per game, averaging 7.1 catches a game through seven games. He also ranks sixth in the ACC in total receiving yards with 505.
Yet to grab an ACC win, the Eagles' lone victory comes from the first week of the season against Fordham where they blew out the Rams 66-10 at home. Â
