The University of Louisville has produced more than 200 players that have played in the NFL. Former Cardinals have accounted for 69 Pro Bowl selections, 19 First Team All-Pro honors, 9 All-Rookie Team honorees, 5 Associated Press MVP Awards and a Super Bowl MVP. Louisville is the only school with two players that have won multiple NFL MVP Awards - Johnny Unitas (1959, 1964, 1967) and Lamar Jackson (2019, 2023).
